Following a study conducted in 2025 by researchers from the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESE-IPP) and the Faculty of Human Kinetics of the University of Lisbon (FMH-UL) on the use of SIS-A in the Assessment and Planning of Employment Supports, FORMEM published the final results in book format.
The printed publication will be made available free of charge to FORMEM member organisations and will also be accessible to all interested stakeholders through the document document repository on our website.
The study presents findings and conclusions resulting from the application of the Supports Intensity Scale, Adult Version (SIS-A), as a tool to support assessment and the definition of strategies for the socio-professional inclusion of persons with disabilities. The research involved professionals from 23 organisations working in the field of socio-professional inclusion and included 199 persons with disabilities.
