In 2023, FORMEM restarts the dynamics of the Benchmarking Groups on February 13, at CERCIPOM’s new Socio-Professional Training and Inclusion Centre.
This activity will have the purpose of training the participating entities in the application of the Personal Indicator Database (BIRP): explaining this new instrument for collecting performance indicators for professional training and employment – with the help of two structured presentations by entities that contributed to data for the first collection – sharing general data of the results obtained from the first application; and starting a process of comparing measurable data on the impacts of the activity (benchmarking) and mutual learning (benchlearning) using the BIRP as an instrument.
Although the learning dynamics of the benchmarking meetings go beyond the professional training and employment of people with disabilities – including organizational and broader sustainability issues, for example -, BIRP’s focus is on obtaining tangible data that reflect the impacts of support in the areas of employment and professional training for people with disabilities.
All entities in the sector are invited to participate in this meeting, including those that did not participate in the previous benchmarking dynamics, and those that did not contribute with data for the BIRP pilot test – the objective is to broaden the scope of its application and enrich the sharing experiences and perceptions. For logistical reasons, registration is mandatory, and is limited to a maximum of 4 elements per organization.
Applications must be made in advance, via email, to benchmarking@formem.org.pt indicating the name and contact email of the participants, and are open until February 8, 2023. The program of this activity (in portuguese) can be consulted here.
